How many nights can I hire the canal boat for ?
You can hire our canal boats from a minimum of 3 nights up to a maximum of 21 nights. Our prices are calculated on the number of nights rather than per person. The Canal Boats are priced on the length of boat and the equipment levels. Please see the 'Boats' section for full details.

What are the arrival and departure times?
Each boat and marina has different checkin times. Please see the booking form for details of times etc.

I've never operated a Canal Boat before?
Many of our guests are 'first timers'. The boats are easy to use and we give full tuition as part of your boat handover - All included in the price you pay!

How much headroom is there on a typical canal boat ?
The headroom is approximately 6ft 4in.

What if I have a problem with the boat when I'm on my holiday?
We have a 24hr emergency call out engineer should you encounter any problems.

Can I take bikes and pets on the Canal Boats ?
Please refer to the booking form as each boat has a different policy. If pets are allowed a charge may also be made per pet.

Can I fish on a Canal Boat Holiday?
Fishing is allowed on the Canals at any time of year, but a Rod Licence is required – you can get a 1 day, 8 day, or annual licence from the post office, or Online at the Environment website: www.environment-agency.gov.uk

Where Can I get maps & Guides to plan my holiday?
You can buy maps and guides from each of our marinas, subject to stock or you can order online via our amazon book store.
